Instructor Course

The course is over two consecutive Saturdays, you will have to bring a fully functioning bicycle as this is not intended as a restoration service, it is designed to give you the knowledge to teach people how to repair or replace their bike.

Who is it for?

This course is a for people who wish to volunteer to teach our cycle courses. You must have some service skills, or have recently attended our Basic Maintenance Course. You must also be able to commit to teaching at least 6 sessions over a 9 month period.

What will you learn?

During the two days you will completely strip and rebuild your bike. By the end of the course you should be confident in most aspects of basic bike maintenance, and be able to pass these skills on to others.

Practical details

The course runs over two consecutive Saturdays from 9:30am to 5:00pm, with a short break for lunch. On each course there are four places, we like to work with small numbers to ensure an individual experience.

If you would like to attend this course, but you are not interested in becoming and instructor, then the course fee is £40.

The first course will run on the 21st and 28th of January (you need to attend both sessions). If you want to attend the course, or are interested in becoming an instructor then please email us on booking@alwaysbecycling.org.uk
